John and Mary Jo Gresham started J-Mar Flooring & Carpet Cleaning out of their garage in 1986. Almost forty years and three generations later, the same family still runs it out of a real showroom at 5101 SW 36th. “At J-Mar Flooring and Carpet Cleaning, we do it right” is the line they published themselves, and it is the one the rest of this page tries to earn.

J-Mar started small: a married couple, a garage, and a decision to sell flooring honestly in Oklahoma City. Craig Williams joined the family business in 1991, married into the Greshams, and started the carpet cleaning division the same year, turning a one-line flooring shop into the two-sided business it is today.
R.C. Sullivent came up from the warehouse floor starting in 1996 and now runs the company as General Manager. Larry George has been installing carpet since 1985 and joined J-Mar in 1999 after leaving the Air Force. Tyler Williams, Craig's son, is the third generation, on the cleaning team since 2014. It is a small enough company that the names above answer their own phones and measure their own jobs.
The company is a proud supporter of the Pets and People Humane Society, and holds a board seat with the Affordable Housing Providers of Oklahoma, which tracks the multi-family and property-management work that has been the core of the business since 1986.
